Episcopal Edition
This is the handy chest pocket size calendar used by so many clergy. It measures 3.12 inches wide by 5.25 inches high and about 0.25 inch thick and is ruggedly constructed to withstand daily use. A red ribbon marker helps you find the current location. One week at a glance is displayed. Prayers for daily devotions, pastoral calls, and emergency rites make this a convenient companion for clergy and others. Of course the events of the Liturgical year are noted throughout the calendar.
This calendar begins with the First Sunday of Advent, December 2, 2012 and continues through December 2013.
This calendar includes the listings from the most recent General Convention as described in Holy Women, Holy Men.

I love this diary - it is small, has lots of information about feast days, I have had to use the liturgical material in the back more than once, and even though I also keep a diary electronically, I find the paper copy not just a back-up, but often more readily available.

I have been buying this Diary for at least 10-12 yrs. I love it because it give me everything I need in a little book.

I have been using the Christian Pocket Calendar for 20 years, as has a good friend and now my husband. It's more than a calendar, although a handy one. I can pull it out in a quiet moment and use the brief offices to pray. It lets me know the holidays and saints' days and it holds my frequently-used contacts. Yes, I could input all this into my iPhone, but I don't have to rely on a battery!

There are, of course, less expensive pocket calendars available, but - although I am not a clergy person - I have grown attached to this lovely, durable, informative calendar, and wouldn't think of buying anything else! I would also like to compliment the Episcopal Bookstore on fantastic, personalized service!

Decorously Episcopalian: properly begins the year with Advent; marks BCP red letter days, commemorations, and Sunday designations; politely acknowledges Roman Catholic and Orthodox, Jewish and Muslim holy days and federal observances; recognizes the importance of prayer in the midst of our busy-ness by including an appendix of patterns for daily devotions and forms for emergencies and crises; provides full and sufficient space for notes about appointments; compact, sleek and understated, in short, an elegant pocket-sized appointment book.

I have used this little book for many years. It fits a shirt pocket and has emergency service at the end. I buy one for each staff member here at the church.

The speed with which they send out their orders is excellent. Their prices are competitive. I will check them out first when looking for Episcopal items on line.

I give the Christian Pocket Diaries to my sons each year for Christmas. They love them! John Marshall at the Episcopal Book Store is the BEST. Customer service is a 10+.
