This attractive tealight with a glass base, a special gift box, and an engraved pewter top feels substantial when held in your palm, with nicely beveled edges and smooth curves. The message on the top is a familiar phrase of the 14th C. mystic Julian of Norwich that reads
I bought this to send to a friend who was about to undergo surgery. She had already been through so much in the past year - dealing with breast cancer, the death of a younger sister, and a mom who has Alzheimer's. Though she is not religious as such, this "gift of hope" was warmly welcomed by her. She thought both the message and the holder itself was lovely.
