Celtic Heart, Irish Wood
Please select a list:
These heavy terra-cotta tiles are hand glazed with dramatic crystalline glazes. Each one is individually painted and glazed for a one-of-a-kind artwork. With soft rubber feet on the reverse side, they can be used as trivets. An attached wall hanger on the back makes it easy to mount them on a wall for both decoration and storage.
The background of this tile is a rich brown. The heart is centered on the tile and a black matte finish with spirals and Celtic symbols in a mottled brown. Modern Celtic hearts are loosely considered to be symbols of continuing love and faith as one travels through the winding landscapes of life.
These are truly unique gifts. Each tile measures six inches wide by six inches tall. With the feet they stand ¾ inches high.
The image shows one example. Since they are handmade each tile has a slight variation in the background glaze pattern.
