This is a large, lectern-sized, hardcover edition of the Revised Common Lectionary Episcopal Edition. It includes a heavyweight, burgundy-red cover with a gold embossed Latin cross on the front. This beautiful volume seeks to fulfill the rubrical desire that the lessons be read from a book "of appropriate size and dignity (BCP p. 406)". The interior pages are an easy-to-turn, heavyweight, ivory paper with gold edges. A ribbon marker makes it easy to mark the reader's place. The book's content includes all of the NRSV readings (Lesson, Response (Psalm or Canticle), Epistle, and Gospel) for Sundays in Years A, B, and C, as well as Major Feast Days and Special Occasions. A scripture index makes it convenient to find readings for special services.

Binding size measures 8 3/4 inches wide by 11 inches tall and 2 1/8 inches thick. The pages are made of archival paper. The cover is not leather. By our measurement the font size is about 12.5 point.

Perfect

Includes all the scripture readings including the psalm for every cycle and every Sunday in a beautifully bound book which is a good sign for the holiness of the Liturgy of the Word.
