A fine smaller Bible in leather. I use mine for weekday services. White pages, black print: very readable for a compact edition. Not a study Bible, no introductions to the various books, but includes explanatory notes.

||Very small and paper is too thin
I know this is called a Pocket Edition, but it really is smaller than I imagined it being. One consequence of it being so small is the paper is very very thin, to the point you can see the text on the other side of the page. Between the small text and the transparency, I find it very hard to use as a reading or study bible.
It is very pretty, though. I like the gold edging and the leather cover. Besides it being small, it looks like what a bible is supposed to look like, and it's the only NRSV with Apocrypha that is to my knowledge thusly bound.
All in all I don't think it's worth the price, and I wouldn't buy it again. If if were half again larger with thicker pages it would be my perfect bible, but no such luck.

This was an ordination gift to me several years ago. I've taken it on a mission trip to Honduras as well as to work Camp among other things. Doesn't take up too much room on the nightstand either.

Greatest little bible I have ever found. Text is easily readable and it is just the right size.
