I thought I'd prefer these shields because of the ease with which they can be removed, but that's the reason they didn't work for me. In cold weather they tend to peel away from the car windows. I still tend to prefer the shields with adhesive backing, in spite of the fact that like other adhesive-backed items, they don't peel clean. Guess that's the down side of living in a colder climate!

A great product, but not practical for my purposes. I thought they'd be preferable to the adhesive-backed shields, which are hard to remove from one's vehicle without leaving a mess, but the vinyl ones don't adhere well to the inside of my vehicle windows. I think I'll go back to the ones with adhesive backing.
